Throughout my life I treasure the support of my family, friends and those around me providing advice and support to achieve what I have now and below is how I show the same support to those that may not have it in other places.

Having transformed my own life through the performing arts, and seeing the potential for it to do the same for others, particularly those coming from a position of disadvantage; I set up the Rudolph Walker Foundation to provide inspirational role models and positive activities which empower young people to overcome the obstacles which they may face in life, and build positive futures, as limitless as their imaginations.

Below are some of the programmes run by the Rudolph Walker Foundation…

inter-School Drama Awards REACH & BEYOND inter-School Choir Awards Bridging the Gap Role Model Awards Fundraisers One-Minute Monologue Reach for the Stars
I am proud to be aligned with a diverse range of charitable organisations that complement the mission of my own foundation, collectively working towards impactful change in various communities and causes. This collaboration enriches our efforts and broadens our reach, fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose in making a difference.

www.prostatecanceruk.org Rudolph Walker is a valuable high profile supporter of Prostate Cancer UK. He championed the charity’s Men We Are With You awareness raising campaign and has promoted its award-winningon line riskchecker Rudolph’s uncle died of prostate cancer and he wants to do all he can to ensure other Black men are aware of their increased risk. https://elimumasacademy.com Elimu is a CIC dedicated to the development, promotion and celebration of the arts of Carnival - Mas, Music and Movement. Rudy’s patronage of the Academy is a public affirmation by one of the nation’s loved celebrities of the refashioned and re-imagined Trinidad Carnival that we know as The Notting Hill Carnival, a signature outdoor festival in the British artscape. Carnival and Rudy have ancestral links to Trinidad.
This is a perfect fit for Elimu. His championing of the Academy and it’s programmes have elevated Elimu as a leading advocate of Carnival arts on the global stage. Whether Norman, Patrick or Rudolph, he is our champion.
The Errol McKellar Foundation is a prostate cancer charity and was founded in 2019 by Errol McKellar, a prostate cancer survivor. Our mission is to raise the awareness of prostate cancer to all men and their families. The statistics are too high with 1in 4 black men, 1 in 8 white men and 1 in 12 Asian who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK alone.

Rudolph has become a dear friend over the years and has played a pivotal role in raising the awareness of prostate cancer. He has walked with us at our Walk & Talk Prostate Cancer events and has always shown his support in any way possible. Rudolph is a truly remarkable man and we are extremely proud to have him as an Ambassador for our charity.

Rudolph Walker is the patron of Eastside Young Leaders’ Academy and a longstanding
friend, advisor and supporter.

It has been our privilege to support the annual Rudolph Walker inter-School Drama Awards.
The experience offers our young leaders the opportunity to volunteer their time by
selling programmes and collecting donations with the added benefit of watching
a fabulous drama competition and meeting professional actors. We look forward to continuing our partnership and seeing the Awards grow over the coming years.

The mission of the Caribbean Social Forum is to serve and support the maturing Caribbean Diaspora as they enter into retirement by providing relevant information, advice, guidance, recreational and social activities.

As our Patron Rudolph Walker sits well with our cause in supporting our maturing Caribbean Diaspora. Throughout the years Rudolph has been part of our community albeit mostly from the TV screen. This interaction applies to the parents and the children of the Windrush generation and now the grand and
great grandchildren. Each generation has a story to share about Rudolph and the impact he has had and is still having on their lives with his daily presence on TV and more so since is now one of our Patrons. His natural ability to engage with all generations and cultures is an asset to our Charity.

Rudolph has been a valued patron of Havens Hospices for many years. We are so thankful to him for his continued support in raising awareness of the charity and helping us to raise vital funds so we can continue to be there and make everyday count for the people and families we care for. https://www.havenshospices.org.uk/ www.ebony-steelband-trust.co.uk Rudolph Walker was a Patron for the Sickle Cell Society for many years. His passion for our cause is evident, and in his time as Patron he helped to raise awareness about sickle cell disorder and the work of the Society.

Rudolph has also played a crucial role in encouraging more people of black and mixed race heritage to donate blood, particularly in helping us recruit more male blood donors, which is vital for the regular transfusions needed by those with sickle cell. We are deeply grateful for his dedicated support and the significant impact he has made in our community.
